Terry Lynn Herring

Terry Lynn Herring, 69 of Humnoke, passed away Thursday April 11, 2024.  He was the son of the late Elbert and Eunice Rose Herring.  He was born August 13, 1954 in Stuttgart Arkansas.

Terry was a man of many words.  He started driving trucks at a very young age and soon after he got diesel in his blood.  For 39 years he was an over the road truck driver with no fatalities in which he was very proud of.  He was a loving husband, father, and the best PawPaw to his grandson Jagger.  In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, and mowed yards 6 days a week after retiring. There are a thousand or more heartfelt words that could be said, but to say the least Terry broke the mold.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Larry Herring of Humnoke and Elbert Herring of Casscoe; one sister Georgia Gonzales of Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Piper Nell Herring of Humnoke: son, Joshua Lynn Herring of Humnoke; two daughters, Kelly (Cameron) Thompson of Mayflower; and Lisa Smith of Searcy; one brother, Melvin (Kathy) Herring of Cherokee Village; two sisters, Bonnie (Randy) Sanders of Tillar Arkansas and Dorothy Carr of Humnoke; four grandchildren, Dylan Gray, Jagger Herring, Devin and Blake Meredith and a host of family and friends.
