Danny Lee Houser

Danny Lee Houser, 73, of England, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was the son of Lucian Ray and Verna Lou Battles Houser. He was born on November 29, 1950 in England.

Danny was head stock clerk for Kroger’s, retiring after 33 dedicated years. He also retired from the Arkansas Department of Correction after 10 years.

Danny was a lifetime resident of England. A man of many talents, he loved fishing; coaching sports, cooking on his grill, and taking care of his chickens and goats. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Lucian and Verna Lou Houser; two sisters, Linda Brawner and Sharon Maloy; and a daughter, Dana Reaves. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 45 years, Donna Houser; five sisters, Ruth Baker, Jeanette Cheek, Marilyn Roberts, Patti Houser, and Kim (Billy) Rowe, all of England. a son, Davin (Brandi) Houser of England; two daughters, Dedra (Chad) Burkett of Cabot, and Desiree (Brian) Pack of England; nine grandchildren, Keith (Leslie) Archer of Fordyce, Kayla (Caleb) Archer of Bauxite, Kristopher Archer of Fordyce, Zoe Shelton of Cabot, Dominic Houser of England, Daniel Pack, Danaka Pack, Addison Houser, and Stella Houser, all of England; four great grandchildren, Wyatt and Maci Pippin, and Aaliyah and Adalyn Archer, and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in England. Bro. David Inzer will be officiating. The Visitation will begin at 1:00PM and end at 2:00PM, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00PM.
